Conventional Metal Braces
At Manfred Orthodontics, we offer well-known versatile metal braces that orthodontists around the world have trusted for more than 25 years. Dr. Manfred uses the Mini Master brackets made from American Orthodontic company, which feature a technologically advanced, visually intuitive design that delivers exceptional results. The Mini Masters are smaller than most other metal brackets on the market, and the corners are slightly rounded to offer superior comfort as well.
Ceramic Braces
At Manfred Orthodontics, we are proud to offer American Orthodontics Radiance Plus™ ceramic brackets for those patients wanting a more esthetic option. These translucent brackets tend to blend in nicely with your enamel, nearly invisible on the teeth. A recent study appearing in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics rates Radiance Plus™ as the most translucent of all monocrystalline brackets tested.
Lingual (“invisible”) Braces
Dr. Manfred is so excited to offer INBRACE®, a type of braces that go on the back-side (tongue-side) of your teeth! With nothing attached to the front of your teeth, enjoy the benefits of your improving smile with INBRACE within weeks. The INBRACE Smartwires minimize the tooth movement required to achieve your smile, which can reduce treatment time by months, and in some cases years for the most advanced cases. INBRACE uses patented self driving Gentleforce technology to guide your teeth to their ideal position. This is a wonderful option for those who would like the esthetics of clear aligners, but don’t want to worry about compliance!
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a way to align the teeth without using braces. Dr. Manfred uses both Spark and Invisalign brands of clear aligner to straighten teeth, and both offer many benefits when compared to traditional braces. Not every patient is a candidate for clear aligners, but Dr. Manfred will discuss the pros and cons of this option at your consultation appointment. She will use our Itero Scanner—a digital scanner—to construct a 3D model of your teeth and will personalize your clear aligner treatment specific to your needs. Each aligner is worn for 1-2 weeks, and appointments are usually shorter than those for traditional braces.
